Happy September VGCA! On September 17th 8pm. Bring your chair out we will be playing the First
“How to Train Your Dragon” movie! Popcorn will be served once the movie starts. Please comment below for popcorn.
Pool hours for the next two weeks
We will try our best to be open the following days/times. It is all dependent upon availability of lifeguards as we are short staffed due to school, school activities, and scheduled time off.
- 4-7pm Mon, Tues, Wed, Thurs (Aug 29-Sept 1)
- Closed Friday Sept 2
- 1-7pm Sat, Sun, Mon Sept 3-5
- 1-7pm Sat, Sun, Sept 10-11
End of season pool hours
Starting Monday, Aug 15th, we will be closing at 7pm each day.
With NN Public Schools starting back August 29, we will be closed during the week (Mon-Fri). We are attempting to open 4-7pm Mon-Fri that week but it depends on weather and availability of lifeguards. The same will go for the 2nd weekend of September (Sept 9-11).
End of Summer Party!
August 20th at 5:30 We will have Music, KIds Crafts, food trucks and a movie!
Sweet Frog and HotBox will be here! Please come show them some love for coming to us!
At 8pm We will watching Shrek 2 Bring a chair, popcorn will be provided. Must RSVP for popcorn.

We are offering 1/2 off our pool memberships for the rest of the season (a week early so it’s a GREAT deal). This is a great way to try out the pool and support our greatest asset! The pool is in excellent condition and is maintained by our Village Green volunteers!
We will be open through Labor Day.

Adult Pool Party for ALL VGCA members
VGCA ADULT POOL PARTY
July 16, 2022
7pm-10pm
We are ten days away from our annual VGCA Adult Pool Party, on July 16, 2022 from 7pm-10pm. This year it will be an 80s themed party with karaoke!
This is a great opportunity for VGCA Adult Members to come out and meet other families! To make it easy on families, if you do not have a sitter, we will have CPR Certified sitters at the Clubhouse to watch over your kiddos…tips would be appreciated! Games and a movie will be set up for the kids! We ask that each person or couple bring a dish to share and BYOB! Hot Dogs and Hamburgers will be served!

Please don’t forget to signup for the biathlon. Signing up now makes it much easier on our volunteers the day of the event.
We will also need timers and volunteers to help with the events.

NEEDED: Biathlon timers and enthusiastic family and friends
Timers will be needed this evening. Let’s cheer on our annual Village Green July 4th Biathlon contestants on. Come on up to the pool/park a little early as the events start promptly at 6pm.
We will need volunteer timers. You can use your cell phone and track the start and stop of the swim and then the start and stop of the run.
4th of July Events 2022
Sunday, JULY 3rd
5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. MUSIC IN THE PARK: The VGCA events team will provide family friendly DJ services. Bring your own dinner/snack and come on out and enjoy a fun filled evening with your family and cheer on our biathlon contestants.
6:00 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. JUNIOR BIATHALON AND BIATHLON: A spirited race around VG with your family and friends. The Junior Biathlon consists of a 50m swim and a ¼ mile run around the park for children 8yrs and under. The Biathlon consists of a 250m swim and a 1.1 mile run for all ages and skill levels. Monday, JULY 4th
9:00 a.m. DECORATE THE PARK: Come on out and help dress up the park for the day’s activities. Set up tables and attach festive decorations. Claim your spot on the grounds! A great way to get into the spirit and help make the park look right for the occasion.
10:00 a.m. UNCLE SAM’S BIKE PARADE: Fun for all!! Decorate your bikes and yourselves in your most patriotic colors and join in as we parade around the Green. The parade will be led by OUR local fire department, workload permitting. Neighbors, rest on your porch and cheer us on as we pass by. Participants gather at the clubhouse at 9:50 a.m.
10:45 a.m. NATIONAL ANTHEM: We will honor America and our flag with the playing of the National Anthem.
10:45 a.m. Village Green Swim Team Carnival: The swim team will have carnival games as well as raising money. Tickets can be purchased with cash and help fund the swim team. Please come out and support them. Thank you!
12:00 p.m. PICNIC IN THE PARK: Bring your favorite foods and enjoy a picnic with your neighbors while listening to music!
12:00 p.m. POOL IS OPEN FOR VGCA REC MEMBERS AND THEIR GUESTS ONLY: We will have some pool games around 1pm. It’s never too late to support our neighborhood and become a pool member at https://vgnn.org/join.
July 2nd Movie Night
July 4th movie night has been moved to July 2nd 8pm. Bring a chair and come enjoy some popcorn! We will be watching Madagascar!
