As many of us would agree this is one in a million neighborhood. The one thing that sets it apart from so many others is the number of volunteers we have to help make things happen and keep everything going. We come to rely on those people day in and day out but there comes a time when the torch must be passed. Pete Fry has served as Treasurer for as long as anyone can remember but now, we need a new neighbor to step up and fulfil that role. It doesn’t take much time, or so I’m told, to be the Treasurer. He is even willing to share his experience and knowledge to help get the right person going.
We will also be looking for a new Clubhouse Rental Coordinator. Mrs. Mary Milton has faithfully served in this capacity but starting the new year will be stepping down. Her efforts have greatly served the Village Green with many celebrations, and she has our everlasting thanks.
If not for the volunteers in the neighborhood, then hardly anything would be possible to accomplish. If you would like to volunteer for either of these roles specifically or to volunteer in general, please let the board know. As always, they can be reached by email at [email protected] or you can reach out to me at [email protected].

2022 VGCA Membership Drive has begun
/in Post, Uncategorized, Village Green /by VGCA Pool ManagerThe Village Green Community Association will begin its annual membership drive during the month of March. Membership in the VGCA has remained at the same low rate of just $75, @ $6 per month, but that $6 per month goes towards paying for the many expenses our neighborhood cannot avoid: liability insurance, utilities, upkeep and maintenance of the buildings and common areas, gas for the mowers (otherwise powered by a team of volunteers), and dozens of other incidental expenses involved in keeping the community in good working order.
Membership flyers will be making their way into mailboxes and doors during the next 4 – 6 weeks. You may fill out the flyer and return it to the green mailbox at 625 Brandywine, or you can link to the online membership form and pay via Paypal (fees apply). If you have membership related questions, please email [email protected]
Please go to https://vgnn.org/join for additional info and/or to pay online.

Pool Volunteer Needed
/in Pool, Post, Uncategorized, Village Green /by VGCA Pool ManagerAs VGCA continues to self-manage the pool, we are looking for an extra volunteer. Specifically, I am looking for an adult that can help me with the following:
It is a great opportunity to give back to the neighborhood especially for an adult who is up at the pool on a regular basis. There is very little effort involved but it would help me out during the week when I am working.
Email me at [email protected]
Thank you in advance!
February Service Project

All other home-made cards and be dropped off in the tote on the porch at 657 VGP.
