Annual Call for Board Nominees

It is that time of the year again! Time to nominate your 2021-2022 VGCA Board of Directors. If you, or a neighbor, are interested in lending your talents to help improve our community by serving with this dedicated group of volunteer leaders, please get with Jonathan McBride or Andy Maciejewski for more information. Nominees must be VGCA members in good standing and be willing to commit to at least 8hrs monthly through attendance at board meetings and leadership. Board roles include – President, Vice-President, Secretary, Treasurer, and committee leads (including Communications, Grounds, Governance, Membership, Neighborhood Watch, Pool/Clubhouse, & Social).

This year, we are really looking intently for someone with financial skills to serve as Treasurer and relieve Pete Fry who has diligently served for the last 11 years. The Treasurer leads the annual budget process, handles payments/ reimbursements, manages finances, and takes care of financial/legal filings with the support of other officers. Pete has offered to support the incoming Treasurer as they learn this important role.  A slate of nominees will be presented and elected at the Annual Meeting in October.
