VGCA To-do List 2025
It was suggested that I put together a “to-do list” so volunteers can accomplish tasks during the evenings or even during the weekday if they have time.
Here is the list. Please text Donnie @ 757-768-9326 letting me know your name, which task, and approximately when it will be completed. Or reply in the comment section on our FB Group.
I would like to have most of these items completed in the next 2 weeks (click on the thumbnails for more detail):
Recurring tasks:
- Every 2-3 weeks weed the flower bed at the entrance.
- Twice a month, weedeat the park especially near the fence line for pool.
- Weekly — blow street and sidewalk in front of park and leading to clubhouse.
- Weekly — empty trash cans in park. Trash bags are with lifeguards.
One time tasks:
Trim trees on sidewalk near front of neighborhood going to Oyster Point.— Ryan L- Trim trees and bushes along access road.
- Replace split rail fence on Prescott — Joe O
- All materials provided.
- Hall debris to the dump. — Glenn W
- Pressure wash the remaining chairs and tables. — Bev P
mostly done but we have a few more that needs to be done.
- Trim bushes overhanging pool deck in the back corner.
- Pressure wash top of pump room. Really clean out the cracks so they can be sealed. Ed S. 5/24/2025
