The Village Green Crier is in need of updated Hire-a-Teen info. We will be removing all existing entries and adding new ones beginning November 1, 2019. VGCA Vice President Amy Nuttall organized a Halloween Prepping Party on Saturday, Oct 19th. If you have paint, oil, or other household hazardous waste, you can turn it into the Newport News Landfill for a 15% reduction on next year’s stormwater bill. Landfill hours for household hazardous waste is Friday and Saturday from 8am-4pm. Additional details on the 15% rebate can be found on the City’s Engineering Department’s webpage.

Another pool season came to a close on Monday, Sept 2nd. Volunteers made this a great season and here are some of their accomplishments: 1800 lbs of pool filter sand was replaced. New door knobs and deadbolts were installed. Clubhouse storage area cleaned up and organized. Pressured washed the entire pool deck. Caulked/sealed the pool […]

VGCA and the Village Green Swim Team are sponsoring a Back 2 School Pool Party! August 30th 5-8pm VGCA Pool Members (free) and their guests ($5 a person). Hot dogs, chips, and drinks will be first come first serve basis beginning at 5:45pm. Music and swimming. Swimming, music, food, and a great time for all!
