Help Keep the Tradition Alive!

Our VGCA pool is more than just a place to swim—it’s where our neighbors become friends and our kids make lifelong memories.  However, as a volunteer-run community association, we are at a critical crossroads.  Without a dedicated Volunteer Pool Manager, it will be nearly impossible to fund and maintain our pool operations.

I have been pool manager for the past decade and specifically spent the last few years streamlining projects and “perfecting the science” of our pool maintenance to make the job as smooth as possible.  Now, I am looking for a handy, organized partner to join me this year so I can mentor you with the hope you can transition into the role next year.  I should still be around to help out!

What’s involved?

• Leadership: Hiring and mentoring our great lifeguard team.

• Maintenance: Managing pool chemistry (I’ll train you personally!).

• Coordination: Overseeing small repairs and organizing volunteers to keep the workload light.
