Coast Guard Blue Dolphins (CGBD) will be having swim practice from 4:45am-8:45am (Mon-Fri).
Village Green swim team practice 9am-12pm (Mon-Fri).
HRA campers (capped at 20 swimmers per hour) will be here on Tuesday and Thursday 1:30-3:30pm.
Please note that both CGBD and HRA are great revenue streams for the pool and are helping us with ever increasing pool costs.
Concessions will be open as much as our volunteers are able to staff it.

We have some great pool news! Since we surpassed 90 pool members this season (93 currently), we will be opening on Mondays for 5 weeks. If we surpass 100 pool members we will look to stay open on Mondays for an additional 5 weeks. So, talk to your neighbors tell them about the great things going on at the pool and entice them to join!
Here are the anticipated days/times we will be open on Mondays:
Mon, June 21: 12-6pm
Mon, June 28: 12-4pm (swim meet at 5pm)
Mon, July 5: 12-4pm (swim meet at 5pm)
Mon, July 12: 12-6pm
Mon, July 19: 12-6pm
More Mondays to come if we reach a goal of 100 members!

As Memorial Day weekend and the 2021 opening of our Village Green pool approaches, the VGCA would like to remind everyone that you must join the Village Green Community Association and the pool in order to enjoy the pool. Any resident of Village Green, whether you rent or own, may purchase a membership. The easiest way to do this is to go to https://vgnn.org/join and either use the Paypal link (fees apply) or print out the form and turn it in to the green mailbox in the front flower bed at 625 Brandywine Drive.
Donnie Woodruff, the pool manager, and Laura Cvitanovich, the membership chairman, plan to enjoy the holiday weekend with their families and will not be available to process and verify memberships through the weekend.
Although we will continue to accept memberships throughout the summer, if you plan on joining the pool AND using it during the opening weekend, please turn in your paperwork prior to the close of business (5 PM) on Tuesday, May 25. This will ensure that your payment can be processed and your pool bands delivered before the weekend.

Memorial Weekend is shaping up to be an amazing event. We are happy to announce that The Hot Box Food Truck will be coming to serve the community on Sunday, May 30th from 4-7pm! They will be setup at the park to help us celebrate the opening weekend for the pool. Please come out to help support local businesses! We are also excited to announce that Sweet Frog frozen yogurt will be able to join us for some delicious deserts as well. Unfortunately there will be no pre-ordering and all orders must be place orders at the truck. The menu for the Hot Box Food Truck is attached for your perusal. Attention Community! Open Board Meeting to take place on May 18th starting at 5pm. From 5-6pm we will be enjoying hotdogs and conversation by the pool. 6-7pm will be the meeting. Please come out to support the community, turn in your membership forms, and socialize with your neighbors! The Board looks forward to announcing all the great things we have planned for the summer, including some park rehabilitation and many events! As a reminder the current Covid-19 guidelines allow for us to have up to 100 people in an outdoor setting. Masks and social distancing are still part of the guidelines. We look forward to seeing you all there and to be able to share the exciting plans for the summer.

Summer Kick Off
/in Crier, Events, Village Green /by VGCA Crier EditorMay 30th is going to be a blast with the DJ in the Park! DJ Hewy will be setup at the park to help us kick the summer off right (3-7pm) !
The Hot Box Food Truck will be here to fuel up from all the swimming from 4-7pm.
The Sweet Frog Frozen Yogurt Truck will be there to help cool you down from 4-7pm!
Don’t forget about the two fundraisers going on! Tickets for the 50/50 Raffle will be for sale at the park from 3-7pm!
The Basket Raffle tickets will also be there. We have had some great donations so far!
