Village Green Swim Team Registrations for 2025

Swim Team Registration is OPEN!  Being a part of the Patriots helps our VG kids and teens stay physically active, socialize and make new friends, and work towards goals while they learn new skills during the summer. Practices begin May 21 for our older swimmers with experience and Tues May 27th for everyone!
Join us for a Swim Team Parent Meeting on Monday, May 12th at 7:00 PM in the clubhouse.  New families are welcome!  Our team is developmental and no experience is necessary to join and have fun this summer! 💚

VGCA Membership Drive 2025

5 free one-time use pool passes will be provided to those who register for pool memberships by April 30th.  Get your passes now!

The Village Green Community Association membership drive is under way – be sure to join in our summer fun this year by joining the community association and the pool!  The pool has always been the heart of the neighborhood, especially for our children, and this summer will be no different. The swim team will be hitting the water in June.

Our VGCA Events Coordinator also has many events planned for our neighborhood.  Help support those events and the maintenance of our park and common areas for just $100 a year (pool memberships are more).

Membership flyers were delivered in March.  You may fill out the flyer and return it to the green mailbox at 721 Village Green Pkwy, or you can link to the online membership form and pay via Paypal (fees apply).

If you have membership-related questions, please email [email protected]

Loose Leaf Collection Update

From the City of Newport News: We appreciate your patience as we work diligently to complete the loose-leaf collection. Due to unforeseen delays, we are currently behind schedule. To ensure all areas are serviced, we will be extending collection hours, working on weekends, and utilizing other city staff to augment crews currently working. Our crews are making every effort to expedite the process, and we estimate the final collection date to begin in late February. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation as we work to complete the collection as quickly as possible.
