Help needed (changed): VGCA Pool cover removal Monday, Apr 25 @ 645pm

Thank you in advance!

VGCA Pool deck improvement

Thank you to Glenn Magnussen, Austin Block, and James Mountjoy for helping out this morning.  Also, thank you to our young volunteers that helped remove the bricks a few weeks ago — Connor, Nolan, Joel, Evie, Belle, Isaac, Ben, and Isaac.

Concessions will fund half of this…and the hard work from our volunteers helped save VGCA money.

THANK YOU!

VGCA park and pool improvements…lend a hand.

We have some volunteers that will be helping pour some concrete on the pool deck Sat, Apr 23@830am.

Help is needed spreading mulch that will be dumped today (Fri, Apr 22).  So, grab a rake and spread the mulch in the park and near the clubhouse.

THANK YOU!

Fundraiser created/hosted by our young Village Green volunteers

Our you Village Green swim team members have two great opportunities for you to support them.

Today, Sunday March 27 9-10am (approximate) they will be making coffee and hot chocolate for a small donation.

Also, you can take a look at and pre-order the Village Green coffee mug that was designed and made by Connor.  Stop by to see them.  If you would like to order a mug, here is short video Connor put together.

Click this link to pre-order the Village Green mug and Connor and his team will contact you.

Village Green neighbors are amazing!!!

On a blustery but beautiful day, Village Green Neighbors were out in full force prepping the park and pool area for summer fun! Volunteers pitched in to finish up details on the park equipment, clean off the pool deck and pull out chaise lounges and chairs, clean and organize the clubhouse storage area and clean the bathrooms and kitchen area, clear leaves from around the pool perimeter and spread mulch in the flower beds. I tried to catch everyone in pictures, but I may have missed some. A huge thank you to these and all of our volunteers who come together to make this such a great neighborhood. We appreciate you and the work you so willingly do!

A big thanks goes out to Glenn and Wendy Woodell, Dave and Laura Cvitanovich, Amy Nuttal, Jonathan and Rachel McBride, Ryan and Jenn Greene, Ambrose and his boys, the Blocks, James and Aidan Mountjoy, Glenn Magnussen, Phil Krauss, Debi Henderson, Rich Spivak, Thomas Herrera, and Coach Amy.  If we missed anyone…THANK YOU!

VGCA Membership Drive Continues

Membership flyers are making their way into mailboxes and doors during the month of March. Please join your neighbors and friends to support the upkeep and maintenance of all of our commonly held properties. Last year, the non-negotiable costs to maintain the community (not including the pool) such as insurance, utilities, trash service, website, and gas and upkeep of mowers, totaled more than $8000. Membership in the VGCA, at $75 per year amounts to @ .20/per day. The cost of membership has remained at the same low price for more than 20 years.

You may join by filling out the green membership form and returning it to 625 Brandywine Drive or you may pay via Paypal (fees apply) at vgnn.org/join. If you have membership-related questions, please email [email protected].

VGCA Membership Drive Is Under Way

The Village Green Community Association membership drive is under way – be sure to join in our summer fun this year by joining the neighborhood Association and Pool! Pool memberships will remain at the same low rates they have been for years. The pool has always been the heart of the neighborhood, especially for our children, and this summer will be no different. The swim team will be hitting the water in June, and the snack bar which is managed by our VG youth will be new and improved. Depending on interest, we may have evening lap swims for adults and extended Monday hours. It’s a great place to read a book, cool off, and while away a summer afternoon meeting new friends and neighbors.

Membership flyers will be making their way into mailboxes and door during the next 4 – 6 weeks. You may fill out the flyer and return it to the green mailbox at 625 Brandywine, or you can link to the online membership form and pay via Paypal (fees apply). If you have membership-related questions, please email [email protected]

2022 VGCA Membership Drive has begun

The Village Green Community Association will begin its annual membership drive during the month of March. Membership in the VGCA has remained at the same low rate of just $75, @ $6 per month, but that $6 per month goes towards paying for the many expenses our neighborhood cannot avoid: liability insurance, utilities, upkeep and maintenance of the buildings and common areas, gas for the mowers (otherwise powered by a team of volunteers), and dozens of other incidental expenses involved in keeping the community in good working order.

Membership flyers will be making their way into mailboxes and doors during the next 4 – 6 weeks. You may fill out the flyer and return it to the green mailbox at 625 Brandywine, or you can link to the online membership form and pay via Paypal (fees apply). If you have membership related questions, please email [email protected]

Please go to https://vgnn.org/join for additional info and/or to pay online.
