Events Around the Green

Just because the summer is winding down does not mean the fun stops. We have a few events still planned for the month of August. There is also a service project to raise school supply donations for local schools. First things first the service project, donations can be dropped off at 657 Village Green PKWY. More information on what kind of supplies is needed will be coming out shortly. We look forward to seeing everyone out at the next events.

August 15^th– Karaoke and dessert in the park. Come out and sing with us as we share our home-made desserts. Bring the kids, there will be arts and crafts planned for them. Show starts at 6:30 till 8:00

August 28^th – End of Summer Party. Music, Sweet Frog, and Disney’s Onward will help us end the summer just right. Also did I mention Sweet Frog? And popcorn.

Memorial Day Fund our Fun

What an excellent Memorial Day event!!

THANK YOU to everyone who participated in our raffles and came out to support the local businesses that were on site! The Hot Box Food Truck did an excellent job with their wonderful sandwiches. If you have a few minutes, please rate them on Facebook or Google to show them more support. Same with Sweet Frog, they always do such an excellent job for us and love coming here.

MOST IMPORTANTLY!

FUND our FUN is SO CLOSE to hitting our goal of $3,000 to get that full match from the VGCA!

We have $1460 raised from the Turkey Trot + Donations!

$1350 from the raffles + Donations!

That means we only need another $200 to reach our goal! Just because the raffles are over does not mean that we are no longer accepting donations.

Thank you again to everyone for coming out on Sunday!

Summer Kick Off

May 30^th is going to be a blast with the DJ in the Park! DJ Hewy will be setup at the park to help us kick the summer off right (3-7pm) !

The Hot Box Food Truck will be here to fuel up from all the swimming from 4-7pm.

The Sweet Frog Frozen Yogurt Truck will be there to help cool you down from 4-7pm!

Don’t forget about the two fundraisers going on! Tickets for the 50/50 Raffle will be for sale at the park from 3-7pm!

The Basket Raffle tickets will also be there. We have had some great donations so far!

Memorial Weekend is shaping up to be an amazing event. We are happy to announce that The Hot Box Food Truck will be coming to serve the community on Sunday, May 30^th from 4-7pm! They will be setup at the park to help us celebrate the opening weekend for the pool. Please come out to help support local businesses! We are also excited to announce that Sweet Frog frozen yogurt will be able to join us for some delicious deserts as well. Unfortunately there will be no pre-ordering and all orders must be place orders at the truck. The menu for the Hot Box Food Truck is attached for your perusal. Mon, July 27 (5-8pm) — Food trucks and Swim Meet

On Monday, July 27 we will have Kona Ice and Frank’s Monster Munchies back in the neighborhood. Please come on out and support this local vendor as well as the swim team as they kick off their last week of swim camp with an intra-squad meet. Please feel free to cheer on the kids from outside the fence as we will be limiting access to the pool deck in order to provide a safer environment for all.

PLEASE NOTE: Frank’s Monster Munchies will NOT be taking pre-orders this time.

Head up to the park, order some food, cheer on the kids while you wait, and then enjoy the delicious food from Frank’s Monster Munchies…support local and support someone who supported us while we were still in Phase 1!

Billsburg requires preordering and the deadline for ordering is Wednesday @ midnight. You can order here and choose “Pickup” but add “Village Green Delivery” in the Note to Seller section at the end of the order.
